The origin

Founder's note

A ritual older than us.

Gold has been folded into Korean royal skincare since the Joseon dynasty. The noblewomen of the palace believed gold carried light into the skin — and their hanbang apothecaries refined the formulas for five hundred years. Velora is the modern translation of that ritual: gold-leaf shimmer suspended in pharmaceutical-grade hyaluronic acid, drawn from a Seoul-adjacent atelier that has blended hanbang since 1998.

Morning + evening

The ritual

Two drops. Chok chok.

Morning — after toner, before SPF. Press two to three drops into damp skin. Warm between the palms first. Never rub. Evening — after cleansing, before cream. The same two drops. The same pat, in the direction of the lymph. This is how Korean women have finished the day for generations.
